ISAACS DALE

Dale is from the Six Nations of the Grand River near Brantford, Ontario. He began his carving activity over twenty years ago when He apprenticed under established Iroquois Six Nations’ carvers Ben Henry, Roy Henry and Sam General. Today, Dale is a competent, highly skilled, well-known carver. He carves fine detail into his art work and carefully finishes his pieces.

"I like to make something (carve) so that
people can enjoy the work just as much as I do.
I try to make myself happy so I know whoever
owns my carvings will be happy, too.”
