Russell Williams

Russell Williams is a Coast Salish First Nations artist presently living in British Columbia. Russell has been carving for over 15 years in both red and yellow cedar. His mentor was Master wood carver, Chief Floyd Joseph of the Capilano Reserve in North Vancouver.The artist is known for his precise incising of the cedar wall art with careful finishing and painting. His North West coast carvings include eagle, hawk, bear, loon and beaver.
